Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Habitat for Humanity of Key West and Lower Florida Keys recently received grant funding from the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys to help fund our new Neighbors Helping Neighbors initiative.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors will empower volunteers to help needy people stay securely in their homes by assisting with minor home repairs. The Star of the Sea Foundation and Monroe Count Sheriff’s Office are collaborating with us on this effort to improve the quality of life of some of our neediest citizens.

*To qualify for home repair assistance you must own your home and it must be located in the Lower Keys, between Big Pine Key and Key West. Income verification may be required.
